Check off activities once completed!

Appropriately date this calendar, Monday thru Friday, like our school calendar.

Use pennies and dimes to make 25 cents.

Use quarters, dimes, nickels to make $1.00.

Estimate the number of doors in your home.  Then count them.

Write as many number sentences as you can that have 14 for an answer.

Draw a clock face.  Draw the hands to show what time you go to bed.

Count the socks in your drawer by twos. Count toes in your family by 5’s.

Write:

2 – 2-digit #’s

3 – 3-digit #’s

4 – 4-digit #’s

Count backward by 100’s.  Begin with 900 and go back to 100.

How many minutes are in 1 hour? In ½ hours? In ¼ hours?

Count the number of books on your bookshelf.  Find the thickest and the thinnest book.

Look around the kitchen.  How many things can you find that are square, round and triangular?

Look at a clock.  How many hours and minutes until your bedtime?

Use these numbers in a story problem: 18, 9, 9.  Ask an adult to solve your problem.

 

Find an adult’s shoe.  Measure it in inches and centimeters.

How many steps will it take you to go from your bedroom to  your backyard?

Count by 10’s.  Begin with 13, 23, ….

Count up to 93.

Make up an addition number story. Make up a subtraction number story.

 

Estimate how long it will take you to brush your teeth. Then, do it.   Time______

Play a board game.
