Appropriately date this whole calendar, Monday through Friday.

 

Create a rectangle or square with blocks or legos and find the perimeter in cm.

Find a can of soup in the house and record the diameter and circumference in cm.

Practice your 6 times tables. Have an adult quiz you.

Start at 255. Skip count down by 5’s with a partner.

Roll a die 25 times. Write down how many times each number comes up. Which came up most? Least?

Estimate how long your bed is in feet. Measure it!

Using barnyard animal sounds, sound out a pattern. Have a partner copy it.

What time is it now? What time will it be in 45 minutes?

Pick a 4 digit number. Can you double it? Triple it?

Write down a 5 digit number with a 5 in the tens place, and a 6 in the thousands place.

Estimate how many jumping jacks you can do in a minute. Now try it.

How much money do I have if I have:

3 quarters, 2 dimes, 5 nickels, and 7 pennies?

Get a small bag of M ‘n M’s. Make a bar graph showing the number of each color.

In the number 3,692, what digit is in the:

ones place, tens place, and thousands place?

Write the multiplication and division fact family for: 6, 7, and 42.

Estimate how long it will take you to walk to the end of your driveway. Try it! How about running?

Add: 1,497 + 2,864. Check your work with subtraction.

 

Play “I Spy” with an adult. Find 3 dimensional shapes.

Subtract:          

3,401-2,526. Check your work with addition.

Play a board game today dealing with numbers.

(ex. Monopoly, Life, Yatzee, etc)

Color ¼ of the set of shapes:

 


John has $10.  He needs to buy two pens for $1.29.  Estimate how much it will cost.  Find the exact amount of change.
