Check off activities once completed!

Tally how many glasses of milk each family member drinks in one week.

Write numbers ten to twenty with chalk on your driveway.  Play hopscotch.

ways can you

sort the shoes in your closet?

Count the number of round objects in a room.

Count pennies in your pocket or piggy bank.  How much?

How many things did you eat today that are square shaped?  Draw a picture.

Draw a picture of 10 birds.  Then show 2 flying away.  Show how many are left.

How many letter are in the word August?

Draw a shape pattern.  Have some one guess the pattern.

How many doorknobs are in your house? How many steps? How many window?

Find five symmetrical objects inside and outside.

Count the number of books on your bookshelf.

Draw a pie.  Cut into one half and one quarter.

Line up five nickels.  Point to the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 4th, & 3rd.

Change two nickels into pennies.  How many pennies will you have?

Go on a scavenger hunt.  Find some things that are square, round, blue or orange.  How many did you find?

Play a board game with an adult.

Guess how long it will take you to get ready for bed.  Have someone time you.

Trace your shoe.  Find something smaller, bigger, the same.

Count with a calculator using the repeat key.  How high can you go?

Count to fifty.  Try to go to 100.

How many days are in this month?

Count your numbers from 0 – 20.  Now count backwards from 20.

Circle every fifth day on a calendar.  Count the days by 5’s.

 

Count steps and windows in your house.

How many hands long is your kitchen counter?

Measure one- quarter cup cheerios.  Estimate and then count how many.
