Columbia TASKS Program

The Columbia TASKS Program is an employment program for teens that allows them to earn money by assisting senior citizens in Columbia.  The jobs that the teens have done include outdoor cleaning, raking, snow shoveling, indoor chores, stacking wood, and computer assistance. The teens earn minimum wage.  This service is provided free of charge to senior citizens.  If you or someone you know would like to participate as a teen or senior citizen, please contact Cheri Rivard-Lentz at cherir@ahmyouth.org or at Porter School at 860.228.9493 x119.
