Safe School Climate Survey

We seek your assistance in determining ways to maintain and improve school climate. The Connecticut State Department of Education in conjunction with Public Act 11-232, has provided each school district in Connecticut with professional development opportunities for staff and survey instruments to help us measure the effectiveness of our efforts to maintain a safe school.

We will be surveying all parents/guardians. Please complete this survey if you did not have a chance to at Open House. The survey is completely anonymous, will take approximately 10 minutes to complete, and can be taken online at:

This link is available on our school website as well under Parent Resources. If you do not have access to this online survey, please pick up a paper copy in the main office. Survey responses will be collected until Wednesday, September 30th. If you have more than one child, please complete a survey for each child.

Students in grades 3, 5 and 7 as well as all staff will be asked to complete the survey online at school during the same time period.

We hope you will take the time to provide us with this valuable information. Feel free to call or email if you have any questions.

The survey results will be shared with the School Climate Committee. The Committee will analyze the results and develop appropriate strategies, procedures, and/or programs to enhance school climate.

Thank you,
