About the Program
About the Program
The Porter Student Mentors are middle school student volunteers committed to providing social, emotional, and helpful academic support to elementary students within the school setting. The students attend training meetings and are assigned to support students in the classroom, on the playground, and in the lunch room.

If you feel your child would benefit from the extra support, and would like your child to participate in the mentor program, please email Jacquelyn DeVlieger at jdevlieger@hwporter.org . We will assign a mentor to pair with your child.
